The aim of a Brisbane test and tag is to ensure that an appliance, tool or safety switch is electronically safe for use. The test and tag is performed by a qualified electrician who will complete a visual inspection, followed by a series of tests to check polarity, earth continuity and insulation resistance. On completion, the appliance is labelled as having had a completed test and tag.
